Zoras are a race of hospitable ocean-dwelling creatures. Zoras are normally found near or in large bodies of water.
Their skin color lies in the white-blue-gray area, although brown/red also is a possible, though seemingly rarer variant. Most individuals (but not all) have fins attached to their arms and a tail at the back of their head (making their head alone look like a fish).
As their habitat and physical description may lend to, Zoras are fantastic swimmers - moving very much like dolphins (or other such animals) through the water. While they prefer to stay in the water, they are able to survive on land though they are not nearly as fast.
They are a rare race to behold in the reaches of space, but many do venture out to different worlds to 'test the waters' and explore.
Zoras are associated with the United Galactic Alliance.
- +1 Dexterity, +1 Charisma
- In the water, Zoras gain an additional +4 to reflex saves and gain +60' to movement speed. They can breathe underwater indefinitely.
- On land, Zora suffer -10' to movement speed.
Electric Field: Like electric eels, some Zoras are able to generate a defensive electric field. This ability works in water up to 5" from Zora, or on land upon touch. Character may emit a short electrical burst which stuns opponents (1d8 non-lethal, Fortitude save DC 18+Character Level to resist being stunned for 1d4+1 rounds). Requires 15 Intelligence and character level 2.
